Arts Hub Studio Rentals
The Arts Hub offers five studio spaces in a shared building for artists looking for a place to develop their creative practice.
Studio Spaces and Building Amenities
Each renter is assigned a designated studio space within the shared building. Studios are intended primarily for private artistic practice and creative work.
Shared amenities include:
Two shared bathrooms.
A communal kitchen.
Shared entrances, hallways, and outdoor areas.
Renters are expected to respect one another’s workspaces, maintain a clean and safe environment, and keep shared areas tidy.
Application Process
Applications are reviewed by a committee and assessed based on:
The applicant’s artistic practice.
The intended use of the studio space.
Suitability for a shared studio environment.
Studio Use and Guidelines
The Arts Hub aims to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for artists. Studio activities must be appropriate for a shared facility and must not create unreasonable noise, disruption, or safety risks.
The following uses and activities are not permitted unless specifically approved by the Allied Arts:
Client-based services: Tattooing, piercing, and similar practices involving regular client appointments.
Excessive noise: Activities that unreasonably disturb other renters.
Hazardous materials and processes: Practices involving toxic materials, strong fumes, or increased fire risks.
Retail or public-facing businesses: Studios are private artistic workspaces and are not intended to be used as storefronts or regular public-access commercial spaces.
Community Participation
As a part of the Allied Arts, renters are required to make their studios available to visitors during the Artist Studio Tour held over Heritage Weekend in August. This is a special, organized event and does not permit regular public access to private studios.
Renters are also asked to contribute one artwork annually to the Allied Arts fundraising auction, if applicable.

Please note that studio availability is limited, and all applications are subject to committee review and approval.
