Abstract Discoveries
Join Angelique in a 2-day workshop as she encourages you to discover interesting Abstract Techniques to use in your artwork. Day 1 we will make a series of different marks onto drawing paper to use as Collage materials for Day 2. In Day 2 the workshop will focus on ways to use these papers in a variety of techniques. Design ideas and practical applications will be the focus on this part of the workshop. Bring small images, drawings or good images to be included into the collage pieces. The class is limited in size to personalize the time spent with each class participant as Angelique encourages the discovery of your own personal marks. Angelique taught level 1 and 2 Acrylic Painting at the University of Calgary before spending 11 years snow birding in Arizona. With her return to Canada she is sharing with others the wonderful things she discovered to expand her knowledge that encouraged a freer approach to her artistic process. This will be a fun workshop which does not require any previous painting skills. Bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn new techniques as Angelique shares her creative passion.
