SEPT 25 - SUNFLOWER PAINTING: Students will use Q-tips and brushes with acrylic paint on watercolour paper or canvas board, exploring warm colour temperatures and paint application techniques
OCT 2 - YARN WEAVING ON BRANCHES. Using yarn as a medium, students will explore weaving techniques on branches.
OCT 16 - BIRCH TREES IN FALL: Combine a variety of drawing and painting media using birch trees as subject matter, exploring resist techniques, positive and negative space as well as spatial depth.
OCT 30 - HAUNTED HOUSE CARDBOARD SCULPTURE: Students will construct a 3D sculpture using paper towel and toilet paper rolls glued on to a cardboard base.
NOV 6 - STENCIL PRINTMAKING WITH CROWS: Students will explore abstraction methods and mixed media using stencils of crows and ravens.
NOV 20 - FALL FRUIT STILL LIFE: Using a variety of drawing and painting media, students will design and decorate fall fruits such as apples and pumpkins.
NOV 27 - OIL PASTEL POINTSETTIAS: Students will create a still life display using poinsettias as subject matter with oil pastels on black construction paper.
DEC 4 - ICE CASTLES: Create a magical castle outlined in coloured pens (green, blue, purple) and watercolour paints.
